Broadband SFG Spectrometer
Femtosecond Broadband Sum-Frequency- Generation-Vibration Spectrometer
The femtosecond broadband SFG spectrometer measures the entire spectrum of all vibration bands with femtosecond pulses. The femtosecond pulses allow the spectrum to be determined with low excitation energy, which is a critical parameter for biological surfaces in particular.

Features
- Suitable for all gas surfaces
- Measurement of sub-nano layers down to the sub-monolayer range
- Selective measurement of individual vibration bands
- Selective measurement of the orientation of molecules at the interface
- Non-destructive
- High spectral and spatial resolution
Applications
- Interfacial analysis of solids, liquids, polymers, biomembranes and other materials
- Analysis of surface structure, chemical composition and molecular orientation
- Research into surface reactions under real atmospheric conditions, e.g. catalysis or surface dynamics
- Suitable for studies in the field of epitaxial growth, electrochemistry, material and environmental issues
