PT501
Integrated, tunable picosecond laser system in the mid-infrared range
The PT501 series laser systems integrate a picosecond optical parametric oscillator (OPO) and a pump laser in a single, compact housing. This ensures a particularly robust and stable system architecture with improved long-term stability, reduced maintenance costs and simplified installation.

Features
- Tuning range 2300 – 16000 nm (4345 – 625 cm-¹)
- Software-controlled tuning: motorized over the entire tuning range
- Line width < 4 cm-¹ in the entire tuning range
- Repetition rate 100 Hz
- Air-cooled – no external
- Water supply required
- Stable beam direction over the entire tuning range
- Single housing: integrated pump laser and OPO in a single housing
- PC control via USB (virtual COM port), RS232, LAN via REST-API commands
Applications
- IR spectroscopy
- SFG (sum frequency spectroscopy)
Applications

The sum makes the difference
SFG spectroscopy (Sum-Frequency Generation) is a non-linear optical method for investigating molecules on surfaces and interfaces (e.g. solid-liquid, solid-gas). Two laser beams – one visible and one infrared – are superimposed to generate a sum frequency signal that only occurs on non-centrosymmetric structures. By tuning the IR beam to molecular vibrations, SFG delivers selective and …
