Laser Diagnostics and Wavefront Metrology
Laser Beam Profilers
Precise Analysis of the Spatial Distribution of Laser Beams
With the BeamPro laser beam profilers, TOPAG offers powerful instruments for research, development, and industrial applications. The systems capture the two-dimensional intensity distribution of the laser beam and precisely determine beam size, beam position, focus diameter, divergence, Gaussian fit, beam ellipticity, and other beam parameters according to ISO 11146. This allows laser sources to be reliably characterized, optical systems to be efficiently aligned, and processes to be continuously monitored.
Autocorrelators
Precise Measurement of Ultrashort Laser Pulses
For ultrashort laser pulses, precisely determining the pulse duration is essential. Autocorrelators from Femto Easy enable reliable measurement of femtosecond and picosecond pulses and support the optimization of pulsed laser systems.
With compact form factors, high measurement accuracy, and easy integration, these systems offer an efficient solution for research, development, and industrial applications involving short-pulse lasers.
FROG Systems
Complete Characterization of Ultrashort Pulses
FROG technology (Frequency-Resolved Optical Gating) enables the complete characterization of ultrashort laser pulses by reconstructing the electric field. This determines the temporal and spectral intensity of the pulse, as well as its spectral phase.
Especially after optical components, compressors, or in complex experimental setups, dispersion and nonlinear effects can alter the pulse properties. FROG systems from Femto Easy provide detailed information on pulse duration, chirp, and dispersion, enabling the targeted optimization of short-pulse laser systems and experiments.
M² Measurement System
Precisely Determine Laser Beam Quality with CAM SQUARED
The M² factor is a key parameter for assessing laser beam quality and focusability. An ideal Gaussian beam achieves M² = 1. M² measurement in accordance with ISO 11146 provides important information for characterizing and optimizing laser systems.
With CAM SQUARED, TOPAG offers a high-performance M² measurement device for precise laser beam analysis. Single-shot M² measurement without mechanical scanning enables fast, efficient determination of beam quality.
Wavefront Analysis
Precise Measurement of Optical Aberrations
The quality of a laser wavefront significantly affects the focusing, beam delivery, and imaging performance of an optical system. Wavefront sensors from Imagine Optic enable highly precise analysis of aberrations and optical errors.
This allows complex optical systems to be specifically optimized, alignment processes to be improved, and the highest demands on beam quality to be met.
Optical Metrology Systems
Precise Wavefront Measurement – Vibration-Insensitive and Industry-Ready
Manufacturing tolerances alone do not determine the actual optical performance of a component or system. The MESO, R-FLEX, and Optical Engineer Companion (OEC) metrology systems from Imagine Optic enable the contact-free characterization of optical components and systems using Shack-Hartmann wavefront sensing.
Measured parameters include wavefront error in transmission and reflection, surface form, and Zernike coefficients. The vibration-insensitive measurement technology enables reliable measurements even under demanding industrial conditions, supporting manufacturing, quality control, and the development of optical systems.
IR Viewers & IR Cameras
Infrared radiation is invisible to the human eye and requires specialized detection solutions for the safe, precise alignment of laser systems. IR viewers and cameras enable the visualization and analysis of laser radiation in the infrared spectral range up to 2 µm.
These devices assist with beam alignment, the integration and verification of optical setups, and the safe commissioning and monitoring of laser systems in research and industry.
